Should you do Arbonne?
My wife started Arbonne in February of 2006. She had just come home from a coworkers house. The coworker had a party. My wife fell in love with the products and commented on the amount of money some of the uplines in the business were making. After doing some research it seemed like a legit way to make some extra income. So my wife spent $1500 and ordered 4 of the "kits". After receiving the kits she started handing them out to everybody she knew. 2 people signed up as business builders underneath my wife. Neither of those individuals got any business builders underneath them. Each month my wife had to place the $100 order to stay eligible for checks. This started to become too much. After all the warm leads had been tapped she started tapping cold leads. This proved to be very difficult and eventually frustration had set in. After 6 months and $3000, it was time to quit the dream. My wife did receive one check from Arbonne for about $200. Everybody says you will get out of Arbonne what you put into it. My wife put in a lot of hardwork, it just wasn't for her.
Now, I do realize that some folks are making a lot of money on Arbonne. But for those of you thinking about joining just remember a few things.
* Warm leads are your family and friends. This can become awkward. My wife had instances where her friends wouldn't call her back because they thought she was calling about Arbonne. Be prepared for awkward moments.
* Arbonne says you don't have to keep an inventory, you do however have to spend $100 every month to be eligible for a commission check.
* No matter what anybody says or tries to tell you differently, Arbonne is a MLM. The ONLY way you will make money is if you get people to become business builders. This means an initial investment by them of at least $1500.
* The products are overpriced. You can go to whole foods and get all natural shaving cream, facials, etc. for a LOT cheaper than the Arbonne products.
Hopefully this will help any of you that are toiling with the idea of joining Arbonne. There is opportunity in it, just make sure you realize what you're getting yourself into. Be careful about offending or burning any bridges with family and friends.

I hear what you're saying. My family got involved with Arbonne, now $2000 dollars later, we realized it wasn't for us.

I found Arbonne a while ago, and no one asked me to spend $1500 on it. I just wanted the products at the discount, and that is what I got. Then my mom wanted some, so I put in a order for her under my name. Still gave me my minumum order so that a month later when one of my coworkers wanted to join as a Business Builder, I was eligable. My family uses lots of the products now, and we always place an order of at least $100 a month!

After 2 years of hard work I have a white mercedes with Arbonne. My family and friends love the product. Dont get attached to the outcome of what people think. Arbonne is not a company for the weak at heart. It is a great oppertunity and I would recommend the business and the products to anyone. And it is NOT all about finding business builders. It is about helping other people and in doing so your goals will be met guarenteed.
